Counterplay
Open cheat sheetCoordinated Assault burst plus constant Wildfire Bomb pressure. Bombs on your healer win rounds that look like they are going on a DPS. Do not treat this spec as a weak melee — the stun into assault is lethal if you stay in Harpoon range.
Kick
Do not interrupt the Survival hunter. Save your kick for their healer. Do not cast in Muzzle range during Coordinated Assault — they lock whoever is peeling.
Watch for
Coordinated Assault overlapping Intimidation is their kill. Wildfire Bomb stacks on your healer, not the kill target. Aspect of the Turtle eats a stun so Coordinated Assault lands.
Biggest mistake
Ignoring Wildfire Bomb stacks on your healer while you tunnel the hunter, or dumping a full go into Aspect of the Turtle.
Important abilities
Coordinated Assault offensive
Major Survival burst with the pet. This is the kill window.
Wildfire Bomb offensive
Constant pressure. Don't ignore stacks on the healer.
Muzzle interrupt
Melee kick. Survival will sit in range to use it.
Aspect of the Turtle defensive
Full immunity, no attack. Sit the go.
Feign Death utility
Drops combat and some debuffs. Don't recast instantly.
Freezing Trap cc
Incap. Look at their feet before you trinket something else.
